A selection of boats rescued and restored by a friend, John W.
Below is a steam launch built by a friend, Pete Smith. It is a Vic Smeed designed River Queen built on a Kingston Mouldings hull powered by a Cheddar Puffin plant.
Below is Pete's model of a Liverpool lifeboat. The boat has been built on a fibreglass hull to Pete's usual high standard. The photographs were taken at Cheddar Steam Club
Pete Smith's lovely Bournemouth Queen sailing at Cheddar Steam Club. Pete built this model twenty five years ago and she looks as good as new!
